PROJECT: Movement is Medicine

Project Movement is Medicine

Project Movement is Medicine

Movement is Medicine is EBAN’s foundational belief and driving force behind our encouragement and support for Black women integrating physical activity into their daily lives.

The entire EBAN family is committed to enriching Black women’s lives, through dance, walking, running, swimming, yoga, climbing, gym workouts, cycling, and all other physical activities that lead us to a return to a healthier and more normal life.

Inspiration and Support

#MovementIsMedicine is all about inspiring Black women to incorporating physical activity into their lives as a foundational step toward holistic wellness.

We’ll be supported by the voices of Dr. Brittany Griffin, an Afrikan-centered psychotherapist and Assistant Professor at Florida A&M University, and Madison Feeland, a Division 1 Collegiate swimmer for Howard University, passionate Gym Girlie and natural hair expert.

Together we’ll provide authentic and actionable dialogue and guidance tailored to the unique health, movement and personal alignment challenges within the Black community.

Who is this for?

EBAN’s Movement is Medicine Program is uniquely designed for the Black women to help her find joy, solace, purpose and health in various forms of physical activities.

From executives balancing work and wellness to family women that prioritize everyone but themselves, every woman who values wholistic health should be able to find something helpful here.

What Will it Look Like?
  1. Expert-Driven Content: Blog posts, videos, and live sessions with topics ranging from the mental and physical benefits of movement to why we’re in this situation in the first place.
  2. Community Connection: An online community where Black women feel supported, heard, and encouraged to share their wellness journeys.
  3. Accessibility and Resources: Guides, discussions, and strategies catering to various levels, from beginners to advanced.
  4. Success Stories: Testimonials and stories of resilience and transformation to inspire and motivate.
  5. Engagement Events: Support events such as webinars, workshops, and fitness challenges to encourage community engagement.
EBAN's Commitment

EBAN’s Movement is Medicine is a family-based long-term commitment to support the physical and mental health of Black women.

By fostering a community around health, wellness, and celebration of success, EBAN aims to not just inspire but actively contribute to the rejuvenation of a vibrant, healthy, and empowered community.
